Managing Risk Across the Company

In-house lawyers help a company deal with risk, or more pertinently, the consequences of risks badly taken. But proactive/appreciated in-house lawyers do not just deal the legal wreckage of strategic mistakes made by the board, but they also involve themselves in the strategic thinking of the company in respect to risk management.

Predictive Coding to allow greater in-house control of e-Discovery?

e-Discovery has long been dished out by in-house lawyers to external service providers specializing in it. However, much is being written saying that in-house counsel need not immediately reach for the phone when it comes to e-Discovery. With corporations increasingly looking to reduce legal spend, they are looking to in-house lawyers to take up more responsibility in respect to e-Discovery.
